Terrazzo Stone Cleaning DIY Tips!
1: Sweep the floor using a decent sweeping brush, starting at one corner of the room and working your way across. Use a dustpan to collect the remaining excess dirt and debris and throw it in the bin.
2: Fill two buckets with 1 gallon of warm water each. Add 1/2 cup of natural stone or terrazzo floor cleaner to one of the buckets. Put on rubber gloves (don’t forget this is important as you do not want to damage the skin of your hands).
3: Dip a scrubbing brush into the cleaning solution bucket and scrub the floor using a circular motion. Work in small areas, rinsing the scrubbing brush often in the clean water as you work your way across the terrazzo floor. Wipe the edges/corners to a good level with a cloth dipped into the cleaning solution. If you have an electric floor scrubber, you can use this instead of manually scrubbing the floor (saves you having to break a sweat).
4: Finally, dry the terrazzo floor with a towel till its completely dry and there you have a beautiful self cleaned floor.
